Job summary

Manpower in Charlotte, NC is seeking a General Production Associate for a 12-hour day/night schedule. The role supports daily manufacturing operations with rotation across positions to sustain efficient workflow, quality, and safety.“

The position emphasizes training, cross-skilling, and a stable manufacturing career path, with emphasis on safety, GMP compliance, and effective teamwork. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to rotate tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Remove damaged or defective products and store or dispose of them properly.
• Perform visual inspections of packaging for accuracy and integrity.
• Stack cartons or trays onto pallets using proper patterns.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to move finished goods.
• Assist production staff to maintain line efficiency.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas per GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Follow JSAs and plant policies and food safety procedures.
• Communicate with teammates and leadership for smooth shift transitions.
• Participate in cross-training to support flexibility across production areas.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues for continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
