Job summary

Justrite Safety Group in Mississippi is seeking a Production Associate to perform manufacturing tasks according to SOPs and safety standards, meeting daily production targets while ensuring product quality and conformance to customer specs.

You will operate machinery, assist with material handling, maintain clean workstations, and support cross‑training across lines. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior manufacturing experience is a plus. PPE required and lifting up to 90 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform assembly, material handling, cutting, packaging, or related production tasks.
• Review line worksheets/schedules to determine the sequence of production.
• Load recipes or materials used to produce products per the specific line schedules.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product defects to leadership promptly.
• Maintain accurate counts, labels, and production documentation as required.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of safety hazards (5S standards).
• Neatly stack and tag finished product to be moved to next phase of operation or boxing, based on schedule.
• Assist team members and participate in cross‑training to support multiple production lines.
• Comply with all company safety rules, including PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
