We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team! This candidate will be trained to mechanically assemble products for COTS, military and aerospace applications. Ensure the quality of the product being assembled and the reliability of final product. Organize and assert that product will be available on a timely manner for final delivery.

Duties and responsibilities

·Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation

·Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly.

·Double-check connections, glue and conformal coating, any special processes required to ensure quality and record any discrepancies.

·Inform supervisors of any discrepancies or part and equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

·Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment.

·Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy of product movement.

·Maintain and service all equipment when necessary

·Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.

·Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.

·Aware of ESD and FOD requirements for assembly.

·Ability to cross train with other stations and increase movement of final product.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required

·Experience in general assembly work or specialized training is a plus, but not required.

·Must work 1st shift, 40 hours per week

·Experience with power and hand tools a plus.

·Basic computer skills, math and communication ability required.

·Must be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team

·Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

·Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
