48forty Solutions is seeking a Bandsaw Operator in Orangeburg, SC to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallet creation. You will be a vital part of the pallet manufacturing process and must meet safety and quality standards.

The position offers hourly pay between $15.00 and $25.00 with production-based incentives, and requires a High School Diploma or GED. Overtime may be required and benefits are provided for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing up to 50 lbs on regular basis.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills are needed.

As a Bandsaw Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay
$15.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. (production-based position)

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
