Job summary

American Trim in Sidney, Ohio is seeking reliable production team members for the Bumper Bender Line on 1st shift. Responsibilities include meeting established rates, tooling and fixture setup, ensuring part quality and dimensional accuracy, following all setup, run procedures and safety guidelines in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Manual dexterity required to handle parts required to meet defined rates
• Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, and labeling procedures
• Written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Meet established production rates.
• Set up tooling and fixtures.
• Ensure quality of parts, dimensional and visual inspection.
• Follow job setup and run procedures.
• Follow safety procedures: JSA, ESA, ASA.
• Communicate with shift supervisor, tooling engineers and quality engineers.
• Run own operation and complete reports (parts completion, time sheets, downtime, scrap).
• Interpret written specifications for welding the product.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work cell.
• Repair tooling when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
