Job summary

American Trim is seeking Press Setup Operators for our automotive bumper line. You will coordinate multiple press operations, set up 90 to 1600 ton stamping presses, and ensure quality parts through dimensional and visual checks.

You will follow safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors, tooling engineers, and quality personnel to resolve production issues. Prefer candidates with a high school diploma or GED, strong math skills, blueprint reading ability, and prior press operator

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• High school reading and writing skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Blueprint reading is helpful.
• Prior press operator experience preferred.
• Basic math: percentages and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple press operations.
• Set up 90 to 1600 ton stamping presses.
• Ensure quality parts by dimensional and visual checks.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
• Communicate production issues with supervisors and engineers.
• Monitor lubrication and dies, report issues to tooling personnel.
• Meet customer requirements by setting dies in time.
