Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio in Mentor, OH is seeking an Apparel Processor to sort, hang and tag donated apparel, ensuring quality for soft-line departments.

You will greet customers and donors, uphold service standards, and help maintain store stock while supporting our mission to serve the community. This part-time, hourly role offers daily pay and benefits through the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have good people skills.
• Able to identify different shades and tones of color.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay knowledgeable of brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
• Sort apparel into salable and salvage categories. Provide QA by checking for tears, stains, smells, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons; items must be flaw-free.
• Hangs and tags quality donations quickly according to agency standards while meeting production targets.
• Maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition; station ready for the next shift.
• Embodies DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
• Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines; participate with supervisor and team.
• Other duties as assigned.
