Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking Production Associates to support our integration center operations. You will perform entry-level tasks including testing, inspection, basic installations, pre-integration, inventory, and refurbishing where applicable, while validating physical and systemic processing of material and logging quality transactions.

Reports to a Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include inspecting products, following technical documents, troubleshooting, quality checks,

Qualifications

  • Understands and assembles products per technical documentation and quality standards.
  • Has knowledge of ordering, shipping and warehousing processes to support production.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect product for accuracy and defects.
  • Follow instructions and technical documents to perform tasks.
  • Troubleshoot basic, non-complex problems to ensure product functionality.
  • Perform quality checks on assigned product and tasks.
  • Install hardware and/or assemble per customer requirements.
  • Complete physical audits of equipment and accessories.
  • Package and label according to customer requirements.
  • Update location and order status in WWT systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware installations.
  • Understand basics of AC and DC power where applicable.
  • Package and stage equipment physically.
  • Route and manage power cords per WWT standards.

Shifts
  • 1st Shift - Tuesday - Friday, 4:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday, 2:15 p.m. - 10:45 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift - Tuesday - Friday, 2:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
  • AWS shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 6 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.
A Brief Overview

Production Associates perform entry/basic level tasks related to processing product in the integration center. Responsibilities include testing, inspection, basic installations, pre‑integration, inventory, and refurbishing where applicable. Production associates will need to validate the physical and systematic processing of material while being able to record quality transactions representing work. This position reports to a Production Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and identify product for accuracy and defects.
  • Follow general instructions and technical documents to execute assigned tasks related to the product on hand.
  • Troubleshoot basic, non‑complex problems to ensure product will function correctly.
  • Perform quality checks on assigned product and tasks.
  • Perform hardware installation and/or assembly per customer requirements.
  • Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories.
  • Perform packaging and labeling based on customer requirements.
  • Update physical and/or systematic location and order status in WWT internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot installation of hardware.
  • Have basic knowledge of AC and/or DC Power – where applicable.
  • Package and stage equipment physically where applicable.
  • Route and manage power cords to WWT standards where applicable.
Education Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Compensation and Benefits

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay rate for this position is $16.75 an hour. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
