Position: Production Associate 4 (Sit-down Forklift Operator)

Job Details

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

Responsibilities:

• Participate in safety walks and stand-up meetings
• Investigate last known scan locations in WINTRAK for windows and doors
• Safely unload and load windows and patio doors onto shipping carts
• Locate and retrieve custom windows and doors from holding carts
• Floor load windows and patio doors onto trailers, following manifested stops
• Label all screen, panel, and frame units before scanning and loading
• Scan all stock and custom units to trailer locations
• Move carts safely in and out of the loading dock
• Record stock pallet locations and submit forms for retrieval
• Properly strap loaded items with straps and cardboard according to SOPs
• Clean and sweep trailers before loading
• Follow 5S guidelines at the workstation and during operations
• Engage and disengage dock lock appropriately during loading
• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift
• Cross-train and rotate across workstations
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to interpret written instructions and statistical data
• Experience with computerized equipment
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience
• 1-3 years certified forklift operation experience (electric or gas-powered)
