Job summary

Creative Foam Corporation is seeking General Production Associates in Dowagiac, Michigan to support the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include assembling foam components, inspecting and labeling parts, and ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires following work instructions, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to safety protocols. Third shift hours are Thursday 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with opportunities for growth and a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assemble foam component parts.
• Inspect, label, trim, package, and sort parts.
• Enter data into the Plex manufacturing system.
• Alert personnel to quality deficiencies or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Major Function:

General Production Associates perform a variety of support functions in the manufacturing process. These functions include but are not limited to the assembly of foam component parts, inspection, labeling, trimming, packaging, and sorting.

Essential Functions:

1. 1. Ensure that parts being produced meet/exceed customer quality requirements.
2. 2. Ensure that parts are packaged according to work instructions.
3. 4. Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into the Plex manufacturing system.
4. 5. Alert appropriate personnel of quality deficiencies in a timely manner.
5. 6. Alert appropriate personnel of equipment issues in a timely manner.
6. 7. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
7. 8. Maintain a clean work area.
8. 9. Adhere to Creative Foam policies and procedures.
