Job description

Job Title: Production Associate - 3rd shift

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Facility location: Chester, CT

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble a variety of emergency warning lights and sirens.
• Use basic tools and equipment to assemble products or build parts.
• Bag finished products for shipment processing.
• Operate basic assembly machinery.
• Apply basic and some intermediate skills to perform functions using established procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Resolve routine questions and problems; refer complex issues to higher levels.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and use simple electrical test equipment following written procedures.
• May be trained to operate some light assembly equipment.
• Understand production procedures and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
• Possess basic computer literacy.
• Adhere to company quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Scope

• Entry-level position with minimal prior experience.
• Work is prescribed and performed under close supervision.

Education and Physical Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; not required.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or walk for at least 40 hours per week, with repetitive tasks involved.
• Overtime as needed.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
