Job summary

Silgan in New Castle, PA is hiring Production Associates to operate on 3 shifts, 7 days a week. The role involves maintaining production lines for caps, ensuring quality checks, and stacking finished product. Pay is $16.00-$20.00 per hour with overtime available and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently transport a box of product weighing between 15 and 35 lbs.
• Interest in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the line(s) you are assigned to produces quality caps through periodic inspections.
• Monitor the automated line to ensure that caps are properly feeding into the boxes.
• Periodically re-threading labels, filling ink and liner and unjamming caps.
• Properly labeling the filled boxes and stacking them on the pallet.
