Job description

Base Pay: $22.50 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates with advanced knowledge and proficiency on multiple lines and key workstations
  • Competently balance the workload while coaching other associates on the line by sharing knowledge on how to safety to complete tasks
  • Flex and move to other positions as needed to keep the line on cadence
  • Assist with on-the-job training of new or transferred employees
  • Provide periodic coverage for Team Leaders
  • Safely perform operations on specific basic workstations. This includes supporting window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
  • Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, routers, and possible powered industrial vehicles
  • Inspect and observe product nonconformance issues to recognize, address, or escalate
  • Read work orders, labels, and schedules while using key measuring devices such as tape measures to manufacture and complete orders
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, checks and turn in as required
Qualifications

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associate

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand. The associate is required to walk: reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear

Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as well as off shift as required

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $25.50 - $28.50 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
