Location: Billerica, MA - Filling industrial

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Position Title: Production Associate - 2nd Shift Loader

- Billerica, MA

- 2nd Shift - 1pm - 9:30pm

- Monday - Friday

The Cylinder Loader will be responsible for loading and unloading high-pressure and liquid cylinders on/off trucks in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Loader will also ensure safety standards are met during all cylinder handling procedures per Airgas protocols.

1. Inspect cylinders prior to filling, following all standard procedures required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards.
2. Understand hazards associated with various gases; interpret cylinder labels and color-coding to identify tank contents and sizes.
3. Comply with all government and company standards for handling hazardous materials and cylinder gases safely.
4. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
5. Load and unload cylinders from vehicles, record types and quantities accurately, and secure cylinders on pallets.
6. Inspect returned cylinders for defects, perform minor maintenance, and prepare cylinders for reuse.
7. Transport cylinders safely within the facility using appropriate equipment and methods.
8. Segregate out-of-test and defective cylinders, clean cylinders, and remove old labels.
9. Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.

Are you a MATCH?

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing, filling, or loading preferred.
• Background in gas, welding, safety supply, or chemical industries preferred.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and understanding of rates, ratios, and percentages.
