Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential

2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 2:00 am (Monday through Thursday)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read routing and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor
  • Track production on schedule boards
  • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform general labor in different departments of the shop facility
  • Move raw materials using overhead crane and forklift

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-production manufacturing environment
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data; select correct raw materials or semi-finished parts
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Perform general mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, percentages, and division
  • Use power hand tools
  • Drive a forklift
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Read different measuring devices (e.g., tape measure, protractor, micrometer)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly above shoulder height and below waist
