Job summary

Girard's Foodservice Dressings is seeking a production associate to help supply and remove materials and product across the production floor. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and adherence to food safety standards on a full-time basis.

You will assist with equipment start-up/shut-down, carton loading, palletizing, quality inspections, and sanitation tasks while maintaining clear communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Effective verbal, listening, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with other departments in the company.
• Ability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.

• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and practices.

Responsibilities

• Dump empty bottles into hoppers, load bottles onto conveyors, remove liner, knock down cartons and stack pallet to maintain productivity and quality guidelines.
• Assist in start-up and shut down of production equipment.
• Stack full cases of product off the packaging line onto pallets to maintain productivity and quality guidelines.
• Load product into cartons.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Document duties as scheduled in the computer-based system.
• Complete quality inspections per specifications.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
• Follow all written and verbal production instructions and priorities.
• Assist in finding coverage for shift to fill in for absences and vacations.
• Maintain good working relationships with co-workers, warehouse personnel, Production Supervisor and Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

A production position responsible for supplying and removing materials and product to and from all areas of production. This person should work safely, be production oriented, and educated in the food safety defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Dump empty bottles into hoppers, load bottles onto conveyors, remove liner, knock down cartons and stack pallet in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.
• Assist in the start-up and shut down of production equipment,
• Stack full cases of product off the packaging line onto pallets in a manner to maintain packaging productivity and quality guidelines.
• Load product into cartons
• Follow all safety standards
• Document duties as scheduled in the computer based system
• Complete quality inspections per specifications
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
• Follow all written and verbal production instructions and priorities
