Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for a Production Associate 2 in North Brunswick Township, NJ. The role involves operating saws and welding equipment, fabricating window components, and assembling final products for insulated glass units.

You will handle heavy lifting, use hand tools, and support production planning with reports. The position offers a first shift from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM and includes opportunities for full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units.
• Able to read and interpret production data and instructions.
• Able to stand, walk, and be on concrete surfaces for long periods.

Job Description

Production Associate 2

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

1st Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Saw operation
• Welding operation
• Fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows
• Fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands
• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Lift glass onto build tables and roller racks
• Movement of carts in and out of production work area
• Loading window sash components for processing insulated glass units
• Assembly of vinyl grids for placement within insulated glass unit
• Offloading insulated glass units to carts
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately using a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Able to convert fractions to decimals
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Will require standing, walking, and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time A high school diploma or GED is preferred
