Production Associate 2 - Glass Intercepts 2nd shift

Job Title: Production Associate 2

Job Details

Base Pay: $17.75 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

Duties and Responsibilities

The Glass Stacker is responsible for fabricating and producing Insulated Glass (IG) units on the Intercept Glass Lines. The role involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, including heavy lifting and manual tasks.

• Place spacers onto glass light and 2nd glass lite on top of spacer following quality specifications
• Maintain consistent cycle times on the production line
• Move carts in and out of the production area
• Report quality issues observed upstream or downstream
• Communicate mechanical issues with machines to leadership or maintenance staff

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for the entire shift
• Fine motor skills for precise placement and alignment of spacers and glass
• Ability to work collaboratively with another operator
• Ability to identify minor quality defects in glass, grids, and spacers
• Willingness to cross-train and rotate across various workstations
• Ability to understand written work instructions and quality documents
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (1-3 years)
