Aerotek is hiring a Production Associate on 1st shift in Mentor, OH. The role involves safely handling and mixing chemicals, operating production and packaging equipment, and accurately recording production data to support high-quality output.

Responsibilities include monitoring processes, maintaining safety regulations, and collaborating with the team to meet schedules and ship orders efficiently. Weekly pay with overtime applies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively.
• Basic computer skills to log production numbers and enter data accurately.
• Comfort working with chemicals and following detailed mixing procedures.
• Experience with packaging, labeling, loading, unloading, and machine operation.
• Ability to operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail when recording ingredients, weights, temperatures, and other production metrics.
• Willingness to follow safety and quality regulations.
• Team-oriented with ability to meet production goals and timelines.
• Experience operating forklift / tow motor / pallet jack / cherry picker / reach truck.
• Steel toe boots required.

Responsibilities

• Store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Record production data including ingredients, weights, and temperatures into the database.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety and quality regulations at all times.
• Assist in planning and improving production processes and quality.
• Work with team to ensure timely completion of production schedules and orders.
• Perform assembly work to complete products for packaging and shipment.
• Pick parts and products for orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods safely.
• Handle labeling, loading, unloading, and warehouse inventory tasks.
• Use RF scan guns to track inventory and product movement.
• Perform general production and machine operating duties, including batch mixing and packaging.
• Complete other duties to support manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping activities.
