Job summary

Ornua Co-operative Limited is seeking a Production Associate for first shift in Hillsboro, KY. The role involves rotating line work, packaging, and quality checks to meet production demands. You will operate in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility with adherence to GMPs and safety protocols.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 6 am to 4 pm, with overtime as needed. The job requires standing, lifting up to 60 pounds, and teamwork across multiple line positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product including box making, lining, filling, closing, and palletizing.
• Inspect cheese products, packing, and boxes for damage; report deficiencies to the proper parties.
• Perform duties following GMPs including food, equipment, and operating safety requirements.
• Complete all necessary cleaning and workplace sanitation requirements.
• Record production information on a tablet, scanner, computer, or by hand.
• Identify variations in cheese manufacturing processes, troubleshoot, and report to supervisor if unable to resolve.
