Job summary

Tanis Brush Incorporated is seeking a hands-on Production Associate at our on-site Delafield facility. You will operate production machines, perform assembly and finishing, and ensure quality with measurement tools.

You’ll also help package materials, document inspections, and maintain a clean, safe workspace aligned with our ISO quality standards. We offer a 4-day workweek, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package, plus an annual bonus program based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load production machines.
• Perform assembly and secondary operations (trimming, crimping, cutting, finishing).
• Inspect products with measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Package, label, and prepare materials per work orders.
• Record inspections and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per 6S standards.
• Support safety initiatives and quality systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485).
• Collaborate on process improvements and updated work instructions.

What You'll Do

As a Production Associate, you'll play a vital role in our manufacturing process by:

• Operating and loading production machines
• Performing assembly and secondary operations such as trimming, crimping, cutting, and finishing
• Inspecting products using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing materials per work order instructions
• Completing inspection records and production documentation
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area following 6Sstandards
• Supporting safety initiatives and ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 quality systems
• Collaborating with your team on process improvements and updated work instructions
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support production goals

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Comfortable reading measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, and scales
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 6 months of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

This role is active and hands-on. You'll regularly:

• Stand and move for extended periods
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools
• Perform repetitive hand movements (grasping, fingering, feeling)
• Wear required PPE (safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection; additional PPE as needed)

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility with light exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and oils
• Safety-focused environment with established procedures and training

Pay & Benefits
