About Ornua Ingredients North America: We custom formulate and manufacture a complete line of pasteurized process cheese products. We are seeking an energetic, fast-paced, hardworking, and reliable employee to join our Production team!

Essential Functions:

1. Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients
2. Weigh ingredients according to specified amounts on batch sheets
3. Use knives and wires to cut and trim ingredients to correct weights
4. Pack cheese into boxes, tape, and prepare for shipping
5. Stack packed boxes onto pallets
6. Transfer ingredients from the scale to pick-up tables
7. Perform heavy lifting and load cheese into grinders as required
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
9. Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Solid work history required
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
• Communicate effectively by talking and hearing
• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Adjust body position for bending, standing, walking, turning, and pivoting
• Make minor decisions based on standard practices
