GE HealthCare is seeking individuals for a Product Assembly role, focusing on critical manufacturing tasks for medical imaging devices. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow detailed instructions, contributing to life-saving surgical technologies.
Perform routine tasks in Product Assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing covers and other plastic/metal components.
Reading blueprints, diagrams, or established operations practices to assemble and install various probe components.
Perform solder touch-up or solder of parts as a secondary operation.
Complete other duties as assigned and possibly to other areas: Wiring, Epoxy, Final Assembly/Lensing.
Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, plyers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
Organized, work independently, and ability to work in fast paced environments.
Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
General office/manufacturing environment.
Potential exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.

High School diploma or GED.
Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
Demonstrated ability to perform precise, hands-on tasks with accuracy and control.
Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good hand eye coordination with usage of a microscope.
