Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio, is hiring for 1st Shift positions with a base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Job functions include mass-producing windows, doors, and glass units, where candidates will use tools and perform quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units.

• Operate hand or power tools as required.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

Skills

1st Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-4:30 pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
• Support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Operate hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers as required
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions, work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure to read measurements, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
