Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates for our Corrugated facility in Waxahachie, TX. The role offers a starting pay of $24.05 per hour with $2 shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, bringing potential to $26.05 per hour. Orientation starts on 1st shift, then assignment to 2nd or 3rd shifts after orientation.

• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and wear safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve hours daily.

Your Job

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring Production Associates to join our Corrugated facility in Waxahachie, TX! At Georgia-Pacific, we make these boxes for all kinds of industries to help get products where they need to go, safely and efficiently.

Salary:

• $24.05 per hour
• 2nd Shift Differential - Two dollars per hour = $26.05
• 3rd Shift Differential -Two dollars per hour = $26.05
• You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.

Shift:

• Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
• The first (1-2) weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), then you will be assigned your 2nd OR 3rd shift after your orientation.

Shift Hours:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Starts Monday night)
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

What You Will Do

• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environment.

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
