Georgia-Pacific is hiring Production Associates at our Waxahachie, TX corrugated facility to support high-volume manufacturing. Base pay is $24.05 per hour with a $2.00 per hour shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts. There is potential for pay increases based on skills and performance.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with orientation on 1st shift and overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed. Roles require teamwork to meet production, quality, and safety goals in a loud industrial

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environment.
  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
  • Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production; perform basic asset care duties and cleaning of work area.
  • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and wear protective equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a loud, industrial environment.

  • $24.05per hour
  • 2nd Shift Differential - Two dollars per hour =$26.05
  • 3rd Shift Differential -Two dollars per hour =$26.05
  • You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant.
Shift:
  • Only candidates who are flexible and available to workanyshift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • The first (1-2) weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), then you will be assigned your 2nd OR 3rd shift after your orientation.
Shift Hours:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Starts Monday night)
  • Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, farming, or military environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
  • Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
