Essential Job Functions at Food Manufacturing Facility

Shifts:

6AM-6PM and 6PM-6AM Monday - Saturday

Location:

Chesterfield, VA

Production Line Operations:

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Inspect, sort, and hand-pack noodles and cup lines of products according to company specifications.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately for noodle production.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain product consistency.
• Operate and monitor noodle-making machinery and equipment.
• Ensure the consistent quality of noodles according to company standards.

Cleaning and Facility Maintenance:

• Responsible for cleaning various areas within departments and/or the facility.
• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas according to company protocols.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all duties safely and efficiently.
• Wear all the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and hearing protection in designated areas when necessary.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.
• Conduct regular quality checks on noodles for texture, flavor, and appearance.
• Identify and address any issues with product quality promptly.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. for non-heavy lifters.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. for heavy lifters.
• Communicate effectively, especially when conveying detailed or important instructions.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
• Lift and move heavy bags of ingredients and finished products.
• Perform repetitive tasks with hands and arms.
