Job summary

Hartung Glass in Tukwila, WA is hiring Production Associates for a day shift. You will support multiple production areas, reading tags, inspecting glass, and moving materials with forklifts and pallet jacks. Training is provided for motivated applicants with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include following schedules, maintaining quality, and preparing products for shipping. A safety-focused, team-driven environment awaits you with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • No experience? training provided for the right candidate.
  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch (or willingness to learn).
  • Follow production schedules with a can-do attitude.
  • Maintain attention to detail and safety in a manufacturing environment.

  • Read tags to ensure products are manufactured correctly.
  • Inspect glass at all stages for defects, damage, and sizing.
  • Load/unload glass from various machines.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Organize final product on racks by delivery routes.
  • Rack/crate final product ensuring safe shipment.
  • Load/unload delivery trucks.

What You’ll Do

Our Production Associates work in a wide range of departments, assisting with the manufacturing of glass. This could include:

  • Reading tags to ensure products are being manufactured correctly.
  • Inspecting glass at all stages of the production process to check for manufacturing defects, damage, and proper sizing.
  • Loading/unloading glass from various machines.
  • Operating equipment and machines such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Organizing the final product on racks based on delivery routes.
  • Racking/crating the final product, ensuring that the product is safe and secure for shipping.
  • Loading/unloading delivery trucks.
Available Shift

Day Shift- 500am-330pm Monday- Thursday

Pay

Pay: $21.65 – 22.65/hr depending on experience.

No experience? No problem—we’ll train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • INDIVIDUALS WITH GLASS/WINDOW EXPERIENCE, WAREHOUSE, SHIPPING AND DISTRIBUTION ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS WE PAY FOR EXPERIENCE! Focused on safety

  • Pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana).
  • Able to lift between 50-75 lbs. (some areas may require less)
  • Able to work overtime
