Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Production Associate at our St. Marys, GA location. You will operate various equipment to meet production goals in a safety-focused environment, with full benefits and vacation days from day one.

Rotating 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, start pay $20.10 per hour. Responsibilities include core preparation, forklift operation, line support during changeovers, and keeping the work area clean. High school diploma or GED and forklift experience are preferred.

Join the team at our St. Marys, GA location as a Production Associate and you will have the opportunity to operate various types of equipment to help meet production goals while working in a safe environment. As a Production Associate, you will receive a full benefits package and start earning paid vacation days on day one! Our Production Associates perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling up to 8 hours a day. They maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job. Production Associates work in industrial environment that can be hot, humid, cold, and noisy.

This position starts at $20.10 per hour.

What You Will Do

• Prepare roll cores for production lines
• Operate a forklift and conduct required pre-operating checks on forklift equipment daily
• Assist lines during thread up, break outs, and order changes
• Perform housekeeping duties of work area

• Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
