The Production Operations Associate will ensure the efficient movement and processing of materials to support production goals, facilitate the timely receipt of raw materials, and prepare finished goods for shipment in a collaborative work environment under specific safety and quality guidelines.

Essential Job Functions

• Foster a culture of safety compliance, focusing on the use of production and operational equipment.
• Operate and train on material processing and manufacturing equipment such as conveyance, shredding, milling, and screening equipment.
• Pick and load inventory needed for production areas.
• Maintain data and transactions within a Warehouse Management System and create reports to support management decision-making.
• Establish and model quality control mechanisms.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Support the internal flow of materials to meet production requirements.
• Receive inbound shipments of raw materials, maintenance parts, and engineering equipment.
• Participate in physical inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow material flow strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Operate and train on material movement equipment such as PIT equipment, reach trucks, and forklifts.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling; HAZWOPER certification preferred or obtainable.
• Physical stamina and mobility to perform tasks like bending, lifting, climbing, and walking in multi-level facilities.
• Ability to wear respiratory protection and PPE as required.
• Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics, with understanding of inventory management.
• Proven safety record in previous roles.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to complete respiratory fit tests, wear PPE, work extended shifts in protective gear, climb ladders/stairs, operate machinery, and lift objects up to 20 lbs. regularly.
