  5. Test wiring continuity using appropriate testers.
  6. Mark products for inventory or delivery.
  7. Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine material and assembly requirements.
  8. Select components/wires, loop them between guide pegs on the harness board, following diagrams or color-coded lines.
  9. Clean parts with cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
  10. Inspect and test wiring assemblies for resistance and operation, recording results.
  11. Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport to storage.
  12. Identify and repair/replace defective electrical or electronic components to meet specifications.
  13. Assist with or train others in assembly procedures.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year in electronic or mechanical assembly and wire harness building.
  • Experience in manufacturing, processing raw materials, and understanding production processes. Familiarity with torque values (IN LBS vs. FT LBS) and the ability to read electronic schematics is preferred. CME is willing to train candidates with attention to detail and hands-on confidence.
