Job summary

Job Description

We are in search of a production associate to support the manufacturing department. As a production, you will perform essential functions in a food manufacturing facility.

Do you enjoy keeping busy and physical work? Are you comfortable doing repetitive work? As a general laborer, you’ll have the opportunity to be instrumental in the shipping department.

Production Associate Top Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment to ensure the team and product are safe from debris or obstacles. May be required to perform sanitation work in their designated work area and on specified lines.
• Previous food manufacturing experience.
• Maintains product quality by recognizing and understanding customer specifications, defective products, packets and/or packaging.
• Must understand and adhere to line certification. Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and safety practices.

Production Associate Skills and Requirements

• Work schedule may include working rotating schedules to support 5 days working for 7 days coverage.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Must have good communication skills to understand and take directions and work with others while performing their duties.
• The ideal schedule is 7:00am-3:30pm. Must be available to work overtime and weekends. Compensation: $21.70 per hour.
