Job summary

Sonoco Orlando, a global packaging leader, is seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will perform duties to support safety, quality, and efficient production on multiple shifts.

The role involves collaborating with team members, troubleshooting issues, monitoring product quality, and maintaining clean work areas. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read work instructions are preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

• Ability to read and understand standard work instructions.

• Maintain a good attendance record.

Responsibilities

Position: Production Associate

Shift: Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift – 10PM-6:30AM (Sunday night-Friday morning), 1st Shift – 6AM-2:30PM (Monday-Friday), 2nd Shift 2PM-10:30PM (Monday-Friday) Shift placement to be determined after training. 8-hr shift

Wage: $23.75

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform all duties in support of Sonoco’s Safety and Quality policies

• Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations
• Monitor and report on quality of manufactured products
• Perform all duties as designated by Supervisor/Manager

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

• Previous manufacturing experience and/or training
• Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions
• Previous experience operating a forklift (Recommended, not Required)
• Ability to maintain a good attendance record
