Job description

The Associate Product Manager, in partnership with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Design, Technical Design, etc.), manages the product development and production process for Nautica and Lucky Men’s Clubs Costco, BJ’s, and Sam’s. The Associate Product Manager proactively seeks opportunities to elevate the product, achieve the financial goals of the category, and enhance operational efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, source, and place programs on a seasonal basis, emphasizing quality and maintaining business plans.
  2. Regularly meet with cross-functional teams throughout the line-building process to maintain awareness of overall assortment and key items.
  3. Address issues related to initial pricing, production, fabric development, and targets.
  4. Closely monitor production TNA (fits, approvals, etc.) and ensure the timeliness of all processes and approvals for all Clubs requirements.
  5. Investigate ways to shorten lead-times and increase flexibility.
  6. Communicate and enforce the Brands’ production, quality, and delivery requirements with all suppliers.
Position Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production/Product Development, preferably within a vertical or wholesale retail organization.
  2. Prior experience managing product categories independently.
  3. Clear understanding of the product development and product life cycle.
  4. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  5. Strong retail math and business acumen/financial skills.
  6. Ability to negotiate costing and pricing with vendors.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  8. Ability to multi-task and shift priorities effectively.
  9. Flexible, organized, team player.
  10. Travel may be required based on business needs.
  11. Adherence to regular in-office presence, including in-person meetings and collaboration, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor; duties may change as per company needs.
  13. Must have authorization to work in the United States.
