Job summary

Easterseals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to support our donation processing and merchandising operations in Layton, Utah. You will help sort and prepare merchandise for sale, replenish stock, and ensure daily production goals are met, while greeting guests and donors.

The role calls for reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. You must be able to stand, bend, lift, and adapt to temperature changes.

Responsibilities

• Process donations; sort and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Replenish stock and/or remove merchandise from the sales floor.

• Assist with accepting donations at the donation door as needed.
• Cross-train and assist in all aspects of production, as directed.

Job description

The Production Associate performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW. Meets daily production goals. Duties will include processing donations; sorting and preparing merchandise for sale, replenishing stock and/or removing merchandise from the sales floor. Greets and assists guests and/or donors. Assists with accepting donations at the donation door as needed and/or assigned. Must be cross-trained and assist in all aspects of production, as directed.

• Ability to work with people having different abilities.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.
• Knowledge of current trends helpful.
• Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times).
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Requires tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
