Job summary

Ventra Grand Rapids 5 LLC, a division of Flex-N-Gate, is hiring for general production across all shifts in its molding, assembly, and metalizing departments. Roles involve assembling parts, operating machinery, and maintaining quality standards while meeting production rates.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork. Training and a manufacturing environment are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts on a fixture or operate machinery.
• Meet production rates in assigned area.
• Understand and apply quality standards for each part.
• Inspect completed parts and pack into shipping containers.
• Use hand tools such as wire cutters or pliers.
• Follow EMS policy and CQAM guidelines as applicable.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Duties

• The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS Policy CEVPL.00005

• Responsible for repeatedly assembling parts on a fixture, or operating machinery.
• The incumbent is responsible for meeting production rates within their designated area.
• Responsible for understanding the quality standards for each part produced.
• The associate is responsible for inspecting the completing part, and packing parts into shipping containers.
• Ability to complete all work in a safe manner.
• Responsible for using hand tools such as wire cutters or plyers.
• Responsible for all other duties assigned by area supervisor or manager.
