Job summary

The Vincit Group is seeking a line filler to load packaging with pre-blended chemicals, label items, and prepare goods for outbound trucks at our Harrisonburg facility. The role requires strict safety practices and accurate documentation.

Required: high school diploma or GED and 1 year in an industrial setting; preferred: associate degree in chemistry and 2+ years in chemical production. Hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:30PM, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to retrieve packaging items.
• Label packaging items per company and DOT requirements.
• Fill and seal packaging items per company, DOT and OSHA requirements.
• Weigh chemicals into designated containers following instructions.
• Scan packaging items and load trucks as needed.
• Complete batch tickets and manufacturing logs per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean and dry work area.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

JOB SUMMARY:

The line filler is responsible for filling appropriate packaging with pre-blended chemicals (which can be hazardous in nature), correctly labeling material and then loading finished goods onto outbound trucks.

EDUCATION:

Required: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Associate's degree in chemistry or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 1 year experience in an industrial environment

Preferred: 2+ years in a chemical production environment

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required:

• Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and associates
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
• Ability to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
