Job summary

Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America, Inc. is looking for a production associate to safely operate equipment and assist in assembling and packaging parts. You will inspect components to ensure quality and follow supervisor instructions to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, data collection, and adhering to QA procedures while maintaining 5S housekeeping. Overtime, including weekends, is required as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Meet daily production goals and contribute to teamwork.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned.
• Perform mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Summary:

Safely and efficiently operate a variety of production equipment. Responsible for assembling and packaging parts as instructed by the supervisor, Team Lead, or designated trainer. Inspects all components and products to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work safely at all times.
• Follow the Environmental Policy.
• Ability to work on an assembly line to operate machinery, load, assemble, unload and pack components and completed parts.
• Visual inspection – can view parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collect data and record as required by assembly station.
• Understand and follow written work instructions.
• Practice and follow all Quality Assurance requirements and internal procedures.
• Complete department housekeeping and adhere to 5S standards.
• Meet daily production goals efficiently.
• Contribute to a teamwork environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned.
• Participate and complete all mandatory overtime, including Saturday and Sunday, as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA management.

Job Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and overtime as assigned.
