Job summary

SFMC Home Lending is seeking a Production Associate to assist designated loan officers in originating and processing loans. You will represent the company professionally and deliver exceptional customer service while coordinating loan submissions and keeping all parties informed on timelines.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mortgage experience or related roles, a high school diploma (bachelor’s a plus), and a solid understanding of lending processes, laws, and product guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage experience or related position.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products/guidelines.
• NMLS License preferred

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Production Associate assists a designated loan officer(s) in originating and processing loans. Duties include:

• Representing the company in a professional manner and providing an exceptional level of customer service in all interactions and functions of the position
• Following up on leads for potential borrowers
• Coordinating receipt of a complete and accurate loan application package
• Communicating effectively and quickly to all parties, both internally and externally, about timelines and expectations to ensure all loans close on time
• Following up with borrowers for items needed for loan submission
• Preparing disclosures and submission of loan file for processing
• Tracking the loan throughout the entire loan application process

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of mortgage experience or related position
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of the lending process, federal and state law, and various loan products and guidelines
• NMLS License preferred
