Monday - Thursday | 4:30 PM - 3 AM | Overtime on Fridays

Responsible for operating and maintaining a Banbury mixer, which is a type of machine used in the rubber and plastic manufacturing industries. The Banbury mixer is used to mix various raw materials, such as rubber compounds, additives, and fillers, to create a homogeneous mixture that can be further processed into finished products.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.

Job Duties

  • Operate a Banbury mixer
  • Measure and weigh raw materials according to the specified recipe or formula
  • Monitor the mixing process
  • Perform quality checks on the mixture during and after the mixing process
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the Banbury mixer
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Help your team stay on pace
  • Clean up before the next shift takes over

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Associate.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • must be able to lift 55lbs

What You Will Do

As a Production Associate you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions.
