Safewaze, a leading fall protection equipment manufacturer, seeks a production associate to join its team. You will operate an automatic sewing machine, read workmanship standards, and collaborate with colleagues to assemble or sew products.

We are seeking a production associate to join our production team that is responsible for overall appearance and assembly to produce fall protection equipment, while maintaining a high level of quality standards based on product specifications and achieving production goals.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

• Read and comprehend workmanship standards, verbal instructions
• Operate an automatic sewing machine
• Check output to ensure the highest quality
• Work with other members of the production team to assemble or sew products using an automatic sewing machine
• Assemble or Package product as necessary
• Able to use reason to solve problems as they arise and follow all safety guidelines
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist and walk through the production area throughout the work shift

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Familiarity with basic model shop tools, sewing machines and procedures along with manufacturing processes
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate and assemble parts and components
• Ability to work in a repetitive job where standing or sitting for long periods of time is required
