Job Summary: Responsible for routine production, assembly line, and packaging tasks. Assists with the overall efficiency of the factory, which may include setup, startup, staging raw materials, assembly, production, loading, labeling, stacking, sorting, preparing for shipping, and other routine tasks. Keeps the production and warehouse areas organized, neat, and clean. Positions may work full-time or part-time, on various days and shifts, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Perform routine and repetitive tasks within food production or warehouse departments.
• Follow recipes and instructions for prepping, cutting, chopping, slicing, assembling, stocking, sorting, staging, and processing products and raw materials.
• May be required to rack products, debox materials, assemble food products, break down boxes, and containers.
• Participate in changeovers, wash down lines, sanitize workspaces, assist with inventory counts, sorting, and staging.
• Maintain a food-safe environment, complying with all applicable food safety policies.
• Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling, supporting the “Green Waste” program.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work station.
• Observe safety protocols, ensuring a hazard-free environment.
• Promote a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, and effective communication.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Entry-level position; previous experience in a fast-paced food handling environment is preferred.
• Experience working in a chilled factory is helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team to achieve results.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and knife handling procedures is preferred.

• Physical ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

Working Conditions: Work is in a factory setting with chilled temperatures, exposed to cold, wet, and damp conditions. PPE is provided.

• Lift and carry objects weighing 25-50 pounds.
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, crouching, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, squatting, stretching, turning, twisting, talking, listening, and communicating are routine.
