Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Work as a team to meet production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Lift at least 25+ lbs and stand for long shifts in a loud industrial environment.

Georgia-Pacific has openings for Production Associates at our packaging facility in Circleville, OH.

Pay

• Starting pay $28.14/hr and an additional $3.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Shift Hours

• 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Shift Flexibility: Only candidates who are available and willing to work any shift will be considered.
• Schedules may include overtime, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Probationary Period: Candidates must be available for all shifts during the probationary period, as they may transition between shifts for training.

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting (at least 25+ lbs.), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, warehouse, OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.
• Experience working in a corrugated packaging facility.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device.
