Job summary

Reeb Millwork, an SBP Brand, is seeking a Production Associate to read routing and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor. You will sew, cut, clip, hook, or assemble materials to create sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.

You will label and package finished goods, track production on schedule boards, and notify supervisors of any issues. The role requires lifting, basic math, and computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook; forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment working on production equipment.
• Prior lumber experience desired; engineered lumber experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Team Lead/Shift supervisor experience is preferred.
• Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.

Sews cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes. Track production on schedule boards. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. Place finished goods on the designated pallet. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Work Environment

• Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items:
• Requires the ability to consistently, and often, lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Responding to public address system announcements, directions from supervisors and managers, warning alarms from other forklift drivers.
• Walking and carrying merchandise.
• Requires moving around the warehouse to assist others or moving merchandise themselves.
• Identify and read tickets, SKUs, UPC labels and reports.
• Requires recognizing, identifying and using merchandise and necessary reports.
• Gripping used to operate machinery or hand tools.
