Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Production Associate in Bardstown, KY for 2nd shift, 2:30 PM to 10:40 PM. You’ll operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, feed materials, perform die changes and machine setups, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Pay is $16.75 per hour with overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package.

• Entry level
• Lift (up to) 45 lbs and stack product safely.
• You're good with your hands and can be "on-the-go" the full shift.
• Keep it tight, stay safe, and back up your crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment including presses, welders, cranes, and forklifts.
• Feed materials and tooling into production equipment.
• Assist with or perform die changes and machine setups.
• Move, position, and stage parts and finished products throughout the facility.
• Perform quality inspections including first piece, in-process, and final checks (SPC, PQI, quality books).
• Identify, document, and report production issues or defects.
• Support maintenance and quality teams with production-related issues.
• Perform basic product repair and rework as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following 6S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Train and support other operators and document training activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team communication.
