Job summary

Staffmark, in partnership with Flextronics, seeks a Production Associate to support daily manufacturing operations in Austin, TX. You will help keep machines stocked, products moving, and the floor safe while contributing to quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

The role starts at $17.00 per hour, with increases to $18.50 after 90 days and conversion to a permanent employee after 9 months. This entry-level position offers weekly pay and a pathway for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, procedures, and specs for equipment operation.
• Set up automated equipment by loading components, materials, feeders, fixtures, and chemicals.
• Start up, operate, and monitor automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
• Monitor product quality, inventory levels, and shelf-life of materials and chemicals.
• Record production and inventory data for tracking and process control.
• Perform equipment shutdown and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized production areas.
