Job summary

Schedule Requirements
  • Rotating schedule with a 4‑day work week and a 10‑hour work day.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM.
  • Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM.

Austin Cultivation & Production Facility

As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in the processing and production of high‑quality cannabis products. This position involves working in all aspects of the production process, including extraction, packaging, and ensuring product quality. You will work closely with the Extraction Manager and team to maintain an efficient and productive work environment. The cannabis industry is continuously evolving, and you must be able and willing to learn and implement new technologies and methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support extraction processes, operating extraction equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient production of cannabis concentrates.
  • Assist with lab‑related tasks, including sample preparation, testing, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with packaging of cannabis products, including labeling, weighing, and sealing for distribution.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment cleaning and sanitization to prevent contamination.
  • Adhere to all state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure legal and operational standards are met.
  • Assist with inventory management, tracking and recording product quantities, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies, and implement new methods to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the production department.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager to support the overall success of the production operation.
Experience and Skills

Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Government‑Issued Photo ID

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a cannabis production facility, lab, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control, policy, procedure, and documentation.
  • Experience with cannabis extraction processes, lab procedures, knowledge of production techniques, and proficiency in using production‑related software and tools.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple active processes.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to be in a constant standing/moving position.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
