Mars Wrigley in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Production Assistant for the Day Shift. You will operate and oversee a designated set of machines and processes within a peanut M&M manufacturing facility. Shift hours are 6:30 am–7:00 pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Starting pay is based on experience, with a base rate of $20.86/hour plus available bonuses and benefits. This role requires mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and the ability to work in variable conditions, including heat, cold,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude or willingness to train in manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient with computers and iPad software, including MS Office and email.
• Forklift or mule operating experience (preferred).
• English reading and writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee designated machines and processes.
• Drive mules to transport candy and materials.
• Start up, shut down, monitor, clean, and perform basic changeovers on equipment.
• Conduct minor repairs and routine checks; escalate issues when needed.
• Operate basic ancillary equipment and use relevant computer programs.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
