FOX News Channel in New York is seeking a dynamic and hardworking Production Assistant to join the Fox Nation live team. This role supports live streaming of breaking news and events, coordinating with legal, graphics, and field production, and assisting with town halls and specials.

You will be organized, able to manage day-to-day and long-term priorities, and work evenings or weekends as needed. Schedule starts Mon-Fri, then may shift to Sun-Thurs or Tue-Sat after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct and operate live streams and shows in an automated control room.
• Write creative and editorially interesting descriptions and work with graphics to create toolkits for the app.
• Coordinate with departments such as legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, and media relations.
• Maintain day-to-day and long-term prioritization; accommodate long hours, including evenings and weekends.

This group is responsible for the growing demand for executing live streaming of breaking news and events on our platform. We're looking for someone who loves current events, politics, and breaking news and knows the Fox News brand.You are highly organized and have great time management skills. You are a self-starter with a ''can-do'' attitude and enjoy working and collaborating with a team. The Production Assistant will also assist with other productions such as town hall and live event programming and specials.
