Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Production/Graphics Assistant to support the creation and production of assessment materials for online and paper-based tests. You will develop and modify graphics and illustrations, assist with document layout and desktop publishing, and help ensure high-quality deliverables across testing projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to apply graphic design skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience creating scientific or mathematical graphics is a plus.
• Proficiency with Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, and Microsoft Word.
• Comfortable working on PC and Mac; strong communication skills.

Must work and reside within the US for this position **Job Overview:**The Production/Graphics Assistant supports the creation and production of assessment materials for online and paper-based testing programs. Working closely with the production team, this role is responsible for developing and modifying graphics and illustrations, assisting with document layout and desktop publishing, and helping ensure high-quality deliverables across a variety of educational testing projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to apply graphic design skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:**The Production/Graphics Assistant will support the production team to create and modify a variety of simple and more complex graphics and line art illustrations for both online and paper tests. This individual will also support the team with desktop publishing work for paper and pencil tests, ancillary documents, and proposal efforts. **Qualifications:*** Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field.* Working knowledge and 0 - 2 years of experience in a professional setting using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.* Experience creating scientific technical illustrations or mathematical graphics is a plus.* Additional software knowledge should include: Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word.* Comfortable working on both PC and MAC platforms.* Should have experience and a clear understanding of file preparation for both print and online production.* Reliable, organized, highly motivated with great communication skills.* Detail oriented, excellent time management skills, analytical thinker/problem solver, a quick learner, and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
